House of Secrets #64 - Alex Toth art

House of Secrets v1 #64, 1963 - Flying to the Caribbean, a plane is hijacked then rerouted to an obscure South American country. On board, Dr. Bruce Gordon and company are tasked with solving the mystery behind a jungle's instantaneous growth. The convoluted plot is nonetheless adroitly pencilled and inked by Alex Toth. This Eclipso tale (his second of the series) benefits from the artist's renditions of exotic locales. This story was later reprinted in World's Finest Comics #228Other artists in this issue include Mort Meskin and Jack Sparling (cover). This is number 3 of 8 House of Secrets issues with Toth art and/or covers (not including reprints). See today's posts or more Toth or House of Secrets issues.
