Somerset Holmes #5 - Al Williamson art

Somerset Holmes v1 #5, 1984 - Deep beneath the Amazon jungle, Cliff Hanger stumbles upon an elaborate tunnel built by the NazisAl Williamson's latest installment is as well drawn as his previous issues. He illustrates cavernous mines, flash floods and scantily clad women with equal skill and attention. The most gripping scenes occur on pages 7-8, as the hero fights for his life atop a speeding rail car. Other artists in this issue include Brent Anderson. This is number 5 of 6 Somerset Holmes issues with Williamson art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Williamson or Somerset Holmes issues. See also this blog's Al Williamson checklist.
