Mister Miracle v1 #15, 1973 - Targeted by a criminal mastermind, a kid named
Shilo Norman joins Mr. Miracle and company for protection. Crowded with figures,
Jack Kirby's cover still seems oddly static. The interiors match the exuberance of previous issues, including two fine splash pages. The best scene is the double-page spread of Big Barda, poised to clench a gigantic nutcracker on the title character. Its compositional strength is a testament to Kirby's keen design sense. This is 15 of 18
