Captain America #350 - John Byrne art

Captain America v1 #350, 1989 - Marking the 350th issue, this comic contains a back-up story by John Byrne. The Red Skull's most recent resurrection is chronicled, along with his origin and historic battles over subsequent decades. With the exception of the first two pages and the last page, the panels are fairly small and numerous. Still, captions take the place of dialogue (which help) and Byrne's drawings (especially the opening splash) are first rate. Kudos to Jose Marzan Jr. for a terrific inking job. Other artists in this issue include John Buscema, Ron Frenz, Joe Sinnott, Kieron Dwyer and Al Milgrom. This is number 15 of 15 Captain America issues with Byrne art and/or covers.
