Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles #69 - Al Williamson art

Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles v1 #69, 1958 - Visiting a fellow marshall in another town, Wild Bill is suddenly forced to leave by the local thugs. Hurriedly drawn and poorly laid out, all three Al Williamson tales fall below his usuals standards. Backgrounds are spare and details are omitted on nearly every page. The illustrations lack clarity and definition, even with Angelo Torres' inking. Other artists in this issue include Sal Trapani. This is number 2 of 3 Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles issues with Williamson art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Williamson or Wild Bill Hickok and Jingles issues.
