| Marshall Rogers |
Marvel Fanfare v1 #5, 1982 - Breaching the protected sanctum sanctorum, Nicodemus attacks the Sorcerer Supreme in his own residence. Following his run on Doctor Strange, Marshall Rogers also contributes to this one-shot issue. The pencils are comparable in quality with a slightly different finish (inked for the first time by Craig Russell). Rogers' imagery of the astral plane and other mystic devices are creative and energetic (see interior page below). Even more impressive is the artist's wrap-around cover. The hero and villain battle within a sea of swirling elements, both magical and mundane. This is 1 of 2 Marvel Fanfare issues by Rogers. /// original cover / original page
