Wild Western #51 - Al Williamson art

Wild Western v1 #51, 1956 - No Al Williamson stories in this issue, but he does contribute a small text illustration. The portrait of two cowboys, cropped at the torso, is drawn in the artist's often painterly style. Despite the size, Williamson turns in an admirable effort. Other artists in this issue include Fred Kida, Bob Powell, Bob Forgione, Al Hartley, Jack Keller and Joe Maneely (cover). This is number 1 of 3 Wild Western issues with Williamson art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Williamson or Wild Western issues. See also this blog's Williamson checklist.
