Frank Miller |
Daredevil v1 #187, 1982 - When his hyper-senses go horribly awry, Daredevil desperately seeks out his old mentor Stick.
Frank Miller's layouts capture the chaos and cacophony that plague the hero. Typography plays a critical role in the storytelling and special effects. The opening splash is particularly acute. Miller's cover is supremely minimal yet powerful in its concept. Portions of this story were later reprinted in
Elektra Saga #4. This is 29 of 33
Daredevil issues by
Miller.
