Jeff Jones does a stunning adaptation of a Larry Niven story. Drawn with heavy areas of black and white, there is a somber, serious tone throughout the pages. Key to this exceptional effort is Jones' splash page, a skillful distribution of light and dark, weight and airiness (see interior page below).
