Daredevil v1 #83, 1972 - Wrongly accused of murder, the Black Widow escapes custody but is tracked down by DD. Barry Smith provides only the layouts in this tale, but his presence is keenly felt on many of the pages. Partial close-ups and panel insets are just a few examples of his influence (see interior page below). Equal credit goes to Al Weiss and Bill Everett for their admirable finishes. Other artists in this bronze age comic include John Romita. This is 4 of 6 Daredevil issues by Smith.
