Tales of Justice #66 - non-attributed Matt Baker art

Tales of Justice v1 #66, 1957 - A jealous circus performer becomes intent on murdering his rival, a lion tamer. Matt Baker submits an appropriately frantic tale of a jewel thief on the lam. Non-attributed in most comic book guides, the artist perfectly captures the mood and intensity of a wanted fugitive. Other artists in this issue include Bob Forgione, Angelo Torres, Joe Orlando, John Severin, Ed Winiarski and Carl Burgos (cover). This is number 1 of 1 Tales of Justice issues with Baker art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Baker issues. See also this blog's Baker checklist.
