Art of Neal Adams volume 2, 1978 - Like the previous volume, Neal Adams graces his new cover with both DC and Marvel heroes as the cartoon Atomic Mouse looks on. The underside of a boulder is cleverly placed to maximize the title's contrast and clarity. Adams' color painting of a barbarian on the back cover is less impressive than the black and white interiors. Among the highlights: pencils of a razor blade advertising story, vignettes from the Jimmy Carter Coloring Book, and renditions of Spider-man, OJ Simpson, and the original Captain Marvel. Also included is his complete story from Power Records' Wolfman, Dracula and Frankenstein, but I prefer the full-color, full-sized original.
