House of Mystery #276 |
House of Mystery v1 #276, 1980 - Told in poetic rhyme, a tale of a newly wedded couple seems partially inspired by Edgar Allen Poe.
Steve Ditko adheres to the pacing and rhythm by using a mostly equal-sized nine panel grid. His artwork is adequate and the drawings become more detailed as the story progresses. Mike Kaluta's cover references the Ditko tale, capturing the groom's homicidal tendencies. Other artists in this copper age comic include Nestor Malgapo and Mike Nasser. Cover by Mike Kaluta.
