Strange World Of Your Dreams #1 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Jack Kirby
Strange World Of Your Dreams v1 #1, 1952 - This unusual series features tales of people's dreams and the mysterious circumstances surrounding them. The lead character is Richard Temple, a professorial-looking dream analyst that comes to their aid. Jack Kirby adds a macabre tone to his subconscious-themed cover. His first tale opens with a ghostly portrait of a man's dead wife that is uncommonly detailed (see interior page below). His remaining stories generally meet artistic expectations. Other artists in this issue include Mort Meskin. This is number 1 of 4 Strange World Of Your Dreams issues with Kirby art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Kirby or Strange World Of Your Dreams issues. See also this blog's Kirby checklist.
