DC Comics Presents #79 - Al Williamson art

DC Comics Presents v1 #79, 1984 - In this quirky tale, Superman and his alter ego Clark Kent try to determine the cause of their strange anomaly. Curt Swan's pencils are familiar to these characters, but seem antiquated at the same time. Al Williamson's inks brings a sharper edge, improving some panels (see interior page below) but having little effect overall. While distinctive in style, his effort pales compared to work from previous decades. This is number 1 of 3 DC Comics Presents issues with Williamson art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Williamson or DC Comics Presents issues. See also this blog's Al Williamson checklist.
