Battlestar Galactica #22 - Walt Simonson art & cover

Walt Simonson
Battlestar Galactica v1 #22, 1980 - After the recurring theft of the fleet's food stores, Lt. Jolly goes undercover in search of the raiders. Various spaceships and their hi-tech interiors are purposefully drawn by Walt Simonson, although Klaus Janson's contribution seems more prominent than usual. His style is most evident on characters' faces. The issue's credits are unclear, but I suspect Simonson only provided layouts. The artist's cover is beautifully composed, using a montage of different scenes. This is 13 of 14 Battlestar Galactica issues by Simonson. /// Simonson gallery / Original cover
