Fighting American #3 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Fighting American v1 #3 harvey comic book cover art by Jack Kirby
Jack Kirby
Fighting American v1 #3, 1954 - Jack Kirby and Joe Simon produce another fine effort on this Cold War-era superhero title. "The Man who Sold Out Liberty" opens with the heroes fighting atop the Statue of Liberty, offering a different vantage point than usual. In the same story, the fight sequence on page seven is especially well choreographed. The two remaining features open with excellent splash pages, precisely drawn and composed. The artwork as a whole meets expectations, despite some occasional wordy panels. This is 3 of 8 Fighting American issues by Kirby.
