Prize Comics Western #113 - Al Williamson / Frank Frazetta, Williamson art

Prize Comics Western v1 #113, 1955 - John Severin not only draws the cover and lead story, but inks two fine Al Williamson tales as well. The roughly applied strokes on the first tale are a bit heavy handed, but in general the integrity of the pencils remain intact. "The Iron Shirt" is marginally more successful due to the story's fine lines and lighter inking. Frank Frazetta appears to have inked the opening page and perhaps a panel or two. Regardless, these two efforts by Williamson are representative of his many fine westerns. This is number 2 of 2 Prize Comics Western issues with Williamson art and/or covers and number 1 of 1 Prize Comics Western issues with Frazetta art and/or covers.
