Amazing Adventures v3 #4 featuring the Inhumans and Black Widow, 1970 - The Inhumans track down the Eye of Yin, only to find the Mandarin has absorbed its earth-shattering powers. On the full page splash, Jack Kirby thrusts an enormous fist toward the reader, each finger adorned with a power ring that contains the face of an Inhuman. It's a boldly clever metaphor, segueing into adeptly drawn story pages. On page 8, Kirby closes in on the Mandarin's eyes as narrates a sequence of destructive visions. Other artists in bronze age comic issue include Gene Colan and Bill Everett.
