Amazing Adventures v3 #1 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Amazing Adventures v3 #1 featuring the Inhumans and Black Widow, 1970 - Years after their first appearance in Fantastic Four #45, the Inhumans star in their own title, sharing space with the Black Widow. Jack Kirby, the group's creator, illustrates this first bronze age issue. Perhaps it's due to the story's short page length, but the artwork is unspectacular. His drawings are confined, squeezing in action scenes within smallish panels. One bright spot, however, is Kirby's opening splash page: an iconic portrait of Black Bolt and the Inhumans heading straight toward the reader. Other artists in this issue include John Buscema and John Verpoorten. This is number 7 of 10 Amazing Adventures issues with Kirby art and/or covers.
