Kid Colt Outlaw #58 - Al Williamson art

Kid Colt Outlaw #58
Kid Colt Outlaw v1 #58, 1956 - A professional gambler fears for his life and makes a deal with the town sheriff. Al Williamson's pencils are loosely defined, particularly on the first two pages. Gray Morrow mostly struggles with inks, failing to add much needed definition and clarity. The darkened panel of a mysterious rider entering town is the story's sole highlight (see interior page below). Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Keller. Cover by John Severin. This is 3 of 8 Kid Colt Outlaw issues by Williamson.
