Coo Coo Comics #41 - Frank Frazetta art

Coo Coo Comics #41
Coo Coo Comics v1 #41, 1948 - Known for his science fiction work, Frank Frazetta nonetheless approaches the funny animal genre with equal effort. His illustrations for three text stories are small (quarter page) but effective in proportion to the story. All vary widely in quality despite the similar format. On the other hand, Frazetta's Dodger the Squirrel tale allows him greater room and opportunity. His characters are expressive, animated and exquisitely drawn (see interior page below). Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 8 of 17 Coo Coo Comics by Frazetta.
