Wonder Woman #269 - Wally Wood art

Wonder Woman v1 #269, 1980 - Compared to his earlier Wonder Woman tale a decade ago, Wally Wood's inking is somewhat lackluster. The artist appears to have done the first eight pages before handing the remainder over to Bob Smith. Wood's delineations show promise at the beginning (see interior page shown below), but his style becomes less evident as the story progresses. Other artists in this issue include Ross Andru and Dick Giordano (cover). This is number 2 of 2 Wonder Woman issues with Wood art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Wood or Wonder Woman issues. See also this blog's Wood checklist.
