Flash #218 |
The Flash v1 #218, 1972 - The search for Green Arrow continues, as Black Canary and Green Lantern scour the city in this issue's back-up tale. Stumbling upon violent white supremacists, the heroes take appropriate action. Another fine effort by
Neal Adams, he portrays two vastly different settings within the same story. Oliver Queen's somber journey to a remote monastery contrasts directly with the lunatic ravings of a cult leader (see interior page below). Adams handles both with supreme draftsmanship and taste. This story was later reprinted in
DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest #16 and
Green Lantern Green Arrow #7. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Irv Novick. This is 11 of 14
Flash issues by
Adams.
