Flash #217 - Neal Adams art

The Flash v1 #217, 1972 - Fresh from their critically acclaimed run, Green Lantern and Green Arrow begin as a back-up feature. In pursuit of criminals, the emerald archer accidentally kills one of them when a shot goes awry. The severe shock that follows is dramatically captured by Neal Adams. Subsequent pages, depicting Green Lantern's search for his now missing partner, is equally compelling. Among the many excellent drawings, GL's somber discovery (page 7) stands out for its clarity and emotion. This is number 10 of 14 Flash issues with Adams art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Adams or Flash issues. See also this blog's Adams checklist or Top 10 Adams comics.
