Haunted v1 #14, 1973 - Immersed in a fog on the open sea, a lone fisherman hears a ghostly cry for help. Steve Ditko's cover is a little too simplistic. His interior story fares not much better, using thin parallel lines to simulate a foggy effect (see interior page below). While I applaud the attempt, the execution is only partially convincing. Other artists in this bronze age horror comic include Jack Abel, Nick Cuti and Pat Boyette. This is 12 of 23 Haunted issues by Ditko.
