Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #230 - Carl Barks art & cover

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #230
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #230, 1959 - Uncle Scrooge sells faulty hair tonic to Chillyboot Indians, resulting in a curse that brings bad luck to Duckburg for decades. Carl Barks' resulting clash of cultures is humorously portrayed, especially the angry tribe (see interior page below). Barks' cover, though unrelated, is similarly entertaining. Other artists in this golden age comic include tony Strobl, Al Hubbard and Paul Murry. This is 190 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
