Doctor Strange v2 #50 - Marshall Rogers art & cover

Marshall Rogers
Doctor Strange v2 #50, 1981 - Baron Mordo breaches Dr. Strange's sanctum, kidnapping his disciple Clea and Morgana Blessing in the process.  The sorcerer supreme follows his trail through time, arriving in 1943 and encountering Sgt. Fury and the Howling Commandos. Marshall Rogers lavishly experiments with pacing and page design. The spiraling sequence of panels on page 20 and the cyan/magenta image on page 18 are but two examples of his bold visualizations. Together with the colorful cover and two powerful splashes, the issue is cumulatively among Rogers' most innovative works. This is number 3 of 6 Doctor Strange issues with Rogers art and/or covers.
