Tomb of Dracula #18, the werewolf crosses paths with the lord of all vampires.
Mike Ploog's excellent cover presents both characters with equal weight. The colors and figure stances show a clear contrast between monsters. Note also how the werewolf's gargoyle perch is about to collapse. By comparison, Ploog's story art largely falters. The splash and the large panels that follow (pages 2-3) lack detail and craft. Other drawings are crowded and hurried, resulting in a less than impressive effort. See an from this issue. This is 11 of 12
