Nestor Redondo
Swamp Thing v1 #15, 1975 - With pious intentions, an old priest summons a devil to bring about Armageddon. This tale of unholy magic is eerily yet exceptionally drawn. Nestor Redondo's art is meticulous, from the occult decor of a hidden chamber (page 7) to the disturbing image of demonic possession (page 19). Punctuating the story is a splash page of the Swamp Thing fighting his demonic antagonist. The two figures are clearly defined, fully dimensional and awesome to behold. This is 5 of 13 Swamp Thing issues by Redondo. /// Redondo gallery
