Swamp Thing #13 - Nestor Redondo art & cover

Swamp Thing v1 #13 1970s bronze age dc comic book cover art by Nestor Redondo
Nestor Redondo
Swamp Thing v1 #13, 1974 - The government succeeds in capturing the Swamp Thing, providing ample excuse to retell his origin and events up to date (see interior page below). Nestor Redondo mimics the style and panel designs of previous issues for the sake of consistency. Otherwise, his classical approach brings a fresh new interpretation to the characters. His stunning title page is exceeded only by his phenomenal cover of the Swamp Thing emerging from a grave. This is number 3 of 13 Swamp Thing issues with Redondo art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Redondo or Swamp Thing issues. See also this blog's Redondo checklist or Top 10 Redondo comics.
