Famous Funnies v1 #216, 1955 - Frank Frazetta's last cover for this title is also the most graphically rendered. An earth-shattering explosion occurs, causing both Buck Rogers and another spaceman to reel from the impact. Most of the fore and background projectiles are relegated to simple, boulder-like shapes. This in turn brings more focus to the masterfully detailed figures. The left-hand figure is thrown off balance while Buck, presumably on the right, only slightly maintains his ground.
