Alex Toth's second effort on this television-based series is a tad less impressive than his first. The stampeding herd scene in "The Stallion Trail" (pages 5-6) is woefully drawn, bordering on amateurish. And yet, there are still far more exemplary pages, especially his depiction of crowds and facial expressions (see interior page below). Both stories open with large, roomy panels, full of detail and expertly designed. This is 2 of 2
