Heroic Comics v1 #73, 1952 -
Frank Frazetta's Korean War tale features Richard A. Shand, the wounded solider who refused to leave the fighting front. His second tale, "Bivouac", tells of Corporal Dechsle, who reacted quickly to extinguish a fellow soldier on fire. Both efforts are drawn admirably, using fine lines and brushstrokes. Even with two pages, Frazetta does an admirable job. His draftsmanship stands out from the other stories in the same issue. This is 8 of 15
