Grandma Duck's Farm Friends / Four Color Comics v2 #1161 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Grandma Duck's Farm Friends / Four Color Comics v2 #1161, 1961 - For this final issue of the series, Carl Barks stories contributes four delightful stories. In addition to the usual cast of Donald Duck and nephews Huey, Louie and Dewey, Gladstone Gander brings his good luck to Grandma Duck's modest farm. His aspirations to become a bullfighter unfortunately brings only bad luck to others. Carl Barks' characters are wonderfully expressive, both in their faces and figures. That combined with his concise storytelling make his works a standout among cartoon humor comics of the era. This is number 3 of 3 Grandma Duck's Farm Friends issues with Barks art and/or covers.
