Not Brand Echh v1 #1, 1967 - Starting with this first issue, the series makes a mockery of the Marvel universe. In separate stories, Captain America, Sub-mariner, Sgt. Fury and others reach satirical heights. The lead story, written by Stan Lee and drawn by Jack Kirby, pokes fun at the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer and Doctor Doom. The art is surprisingly good and consistent with the regular FF series. Other artists in this issue include Marie Severin, Ross Andru, Mike Esposito and John Severin. Cover by Marie Severin.
