Neal Adams
Weird War Tales v1 #8, 1973 – The Golem, a creature from Jewish mythology, emerges to save a small village from the Nazis. The pencils are generally lacking on many pages, omitting much needed detail. Fortunately, Neal Adams exerts his influence in the most of the scenes, inking them with definition and clarity. His cover is even better, using scale and proportion to emphasize the monster's size. Adams' foreshortening displays his mastery of the technique. Interestingly, the masthead was moved down from its normal position to accommodate the entire figure. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Tony DeZuniga (two stories). This is 1 of 1 Weird War Tales issues by Adams.
