Exciting Comics v1 #53, 1947 - Although her adventures began two issues prior, the enigmatic Miss Masque makes her first cover appearance with this issue. Alex Schomburg does a fine job, making her the central focus and suggesting her dominance over criminals through scale. Other artists in this issue include Mike Suchorsky, Art Gates, Dan Gordon, Bob Oksner and Al Camy.
