East of West v1 #1, 2013 - In an alternate reality, the Civil War ends when a comet strikes the state of Kansas. The warring factions sign a truce, resulting in the Seven Nations of America. The apocalypse nears, bringing with it the four horsemen: Death, War, Famine, and Conquest. Starting with this first issue, they become the central players. This sci-fi western was written by Jonathan Hickman and drawn by Nick Dragotta. Cover by Dragotta.
