Predator v1 #1, 1989 - With Manhattan in the grips of a heat wave, a rise in homicides start to unnerve the NYPD. Similarly, a meeting between two rival drug gangs turns into a bloodbath when an unknown force goes on the attack. This first issue, written by Mark Verheiden and drawn by Chris Warner and Sam de la Rosa, changes the setting and characters from the second movie. The Predator appears in comic books for the first time. Cover by Warner.
