Marines in Action v1 #1, 1955 - For this first issue, the Marines' heroics in both North Korea and Iwo Jima are prominently featured. Interestingly, a third tale chronicles a group of men as they go through the rigors of boot camp in Parris Island. Joe Maneely does a superb job with the action-packed cover. Interior artists include Ross Andru, Mike Esposito, Bob Brown, Syd Shores, Tom Sawyer, Bob Forgione and Jack Abel.
