Batman v1 #393, 1986 - Asked for help by the CIA, the Batman travels to Venice, Italy to find out about an ancient statue and its secret. A rogue Russian agent is also on the loose, intent on using the statue to wreak havoc on an unsuspecting city. Paul Gulacy does a decent job drawing the interiors, it's his cover that's sharply designed. Several implements converge on the Batman, capturing a split-second in time as the reader holds his breath. - - - - - - - - - -
