(Walt Disney's) Gallegher, Boy Reporter v1 #1, 1965 - A resourceful cub reporter sneaks learns about a big bank robbery and a murdered man. Created in 1891, Gallegher appeared in a story written by author Richard Harding Davis. Short films of the character came in 1917 and 1928, which led to the Walt Disney television episodes starting in 1965. This first issue soon followed, nicely drawn by Dan Spiegle. Photo cover.
