Sabretooth v1 #1, 1993 - Settling down at his mansion, Victor Creed is soon attacked by a heavily armed mercenaries. He's eventually overwhelmed and taken captive, while also realizing a betrayal by his female assistant Birdy. This first issue, written by Larry Hama story was drawn by Mark Texeira, begins Sabretooths' first series since his introduction in Iron Fist. In addition to the lead story, Michael Golden and Travis Charest contribute pin-up page each of the title character. The die-cut cover opens to a full page illustration by Texeira.
