Peanuts / Four Color v2 #878 - 1st appearance

Peanuts / Four Color v2 #878
Peanuts v1 / Four Color v2 #878 (#1), 1953 - Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Snoopy and all the beloved comic strip characters appear in comic book form for the first time. Given their newspaper comic strip format (including Sunday strips), seeing them in longer page counts is unusual. One story in particular uses overly large panels depicting Mount Rushmore, the Kremlin and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. All stories were drawn in the style of Charles Schulz by Jim Sasseville. Cover by Schulz. /// key 1st appearance in comics Peanuts, 1st issue
