Operation Peril v1 #1, 1950 - Decidedly a non-superhero title, this giant first issue features heroes of various types in separate stories. From the world-traveling adventurer Typhoon Tyler, to private detective Danny Danger, the cover proudly advertises "action-packed adventure". All stories were written by Richard Hughes and drawn by Ogden Whitney, King Ward, Lin Streeter and Leonard Starr. Cover by Whitney.
