
Quick Draw McGraw / Four Color v2 #1040 (#1), 1960 - Not long after his own television debut in 1959, the Stetson-wearing, equine sheriff appears in comic books for the first time. Quick Draw and his deputy Baba Looey, a Mexican burro, are featured in two stories in this first issue. Other characters appearing in backup tales include Augie Doggie and Snooper & Blabber.
