(Beatles) Yellow Submarine v1 #NN (no number), 1968 - Deep, deep underground, a musical fantasy world called Pepperland is taken over by the Blue Meanies. A lone bandleader named Fred escapes to the surface world to ask for help. John, Paul, George and Ringo return with him to Pepperland via a yellow submarine. Based on the Beatles animated film, this one shot issue was written by Paul S. Newman and drawn by José Delbo. Cover by Delbo. Fold-out poster included.
