Wow Comics v1 #9, 1943 - Since her introduction in Captain Marvel Adventures, Mary Marvel begins her own feature within the pages of Wow Comics. Welcoming her are fellow do-gooders Mr. Scarlet and Pinky, whose exploits began at the title's inception. Her first solo adventure involves jewel thieves who move their goods by hiding them inside of Christmas toys. This Otto Binder story was drawn by Marc Swayze. Other artists in this issue include Dave Berg. Cover by Marc Swayze.
