Metamorpho v1 #1, 1965 - Fresh off his debut in Brave and the Bold #57, the element man begins his own self-titled series. In this first issue, wealthy scientist Simon Stagg invents a gadget that can turn our hero back to normal. Unfortunately, a competitor scientist thwarts the plan with a strange atomic force. Only Metamorpho can save his girl Sapphire, her father Simon and his bodyguard Java. This Bob Haney story was drawn by Ramona Fradon and Charles Paris. Cover by Fradon and Paris. /// key 1st issue
